Accounts Senior

We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to work within our busy Accountancy and Business Services department.

The successful candidate will:

  • Will be confident in their use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
  • Have experience in preparing accounts from start to finalisation.
  • Have experience with cloud-based accountancy and book-keeping software.

The main duties will include:

  • Preparation of accounts for a wide variety of clients including sole traders/partnerships, clubs and limited companies.
  • Monthly and quarterly management accounts.
  • VAT return preparation.
  • Other adhoc accountancy services for clients.

Tax Senior

The role requires experience in Corporation Tax, Income Tax, Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax. Previous exposure to Trust work, HMRC enquiries and disclosures would be beneficial.

The position is in a local firm and there will be daily interaction with clients and HMRC. The role offers opportunities to create and build client relationships.

The successful candidate will be personable, reliable, have excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to work remotely when required. A tax qualification would be advantageous.

Accountancy experience would be desirable, but not essential.

Salary dependent on experience.
